What Counts as a Document?

A "document" is a single signing request, regardless of page count. These count toward your monthly limit:

• ✅ A 50-page contract sent to 3 signers = 1 document
• ✅ A 1-page NDA sent to 1 signer = 1 document
• ❌ Draft documents (not sent) = not counted
• ❌ Templates = not counted
• ❌ Voided documents = not counted (refunded to your limit)

Changing Plans

Upgrading

1. Go to Settings → Billing
2. Click Change Plan
3. Select your new plan
4. Confirm — new features are available immediately

When upgrading mid-cycle, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.

Downgrading

When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your current features remain active until then.

Note: If you have more team members, templates, or data than the new plan allows, you'll need to reduce them before the downgrade takes effect.
