Overview

ZiaSign provides a real-time analytics dashboard and a custom report builder to help you track signing activity, monitor team performance, and export data for stakeholders.

Analytics Dashboard

Navigate to Analytics in the sidebar to access the dashboard.

Executive Overview

Four summary cards show key metrics at a glance:

Insights

Three insight cards highlight important trends:

  • Completion Rate — Percentage of sent documents that reach completion
  • Peak Activity Day — The day of the week with the most signing activity
  • Top Template — Your most frequently used template

Signing Pipeline

A visual funnel shows documents flowing through each stage:

Draft → Sent → In Progress → Completed

Each stage displays its count and a proportional bar to visualize throughput.

Completion Breakdown

A ring chart shows the distribution of document statuses: Completed, In Progress, Expired, and Cancelled, with the overall completion percentage displayed in the center.

Weekly Activity

A bar chart shows signing activity for each day of the past week. Hover over any bar to see the exact count for that day.

Recent Activity Feed

A unified activity feed merges three types of events:

  • User Activity — Your actions across the platform (uploads, signs, reviews)
  • AI Conversations — Recent interactions with ZiaSign AI
  • Envelope Updates — Signing request status changes (sent, completed, etc.)

AI Assistant Summary

A panel summarizes your AI assistant usage:

  • Total chats and messages
  • Most recent conversation with a link to continue
  • Quick action to start a new AI conversation

Plan Usage

A usage block shows consumption against your plan limits:

  • Documents, Envelopes Sent, Templates, Team Members, Storage, API Calls, AI Credits
  • Visual progress bars show usage percentage for each feature
  • Plan usage reflects the limits that apply to your current plan

Quick Actions

Shortcut buttons for common tasks:

  • Upload & Sign — Jump to the send-for-signature flow
  • Ask AI — Start an AI conversation
  • Templates — Browse your template library
  • Invite — Invite team members to your workspace

Reports

Navigate to Reports in the sidebar to build custom reports.

Building a Report

  1. Date Range — Select a start and end date (defaults to the last 30 days)
  2. Metrics — Choose one or more metrics to include:

  1. Group By — Choose how to segment the data:

    • By Day — One row per day
    • By Team — One row per team
    • By Template — One row per template
  2. Click Run Report to generate results.

Results Table

Results display in a table with columns: Timestamp, Metric, Value, and Metadata.

CSV Export

Click Export CSV to download the report. The export includes all rows with properly escaped metadata fields — ready for spreadsheets or BI tools.

Reports run against finalized analytics data. Regenerating a report does not change historical numbers.

You can select from: Requests Sent, Requests Completed, Requests Cancelled, Completion Rate, and Completion Time (in minutes). Group results by day, team, or template.

Does the dashboard show AI assistant usage?

Yes. The analytics dashboard includes an AI assistant panel showing total chats, total messages, your most recent conversation, and a quick link to start a new AI conversation.
