The bell works: in-app Notification Centre, plus an 81% lighter landing page

In-app Notification Centre#

The dashboard bell is now backed by a real per-user inbox:

• Document events, mentions, and system notices in one place.
• Unread counts, mark-read, mark-all-read, and delete — with strict per-user isolation enforced server-side.

Performance: 81% lighter first load#

The landing experience deferred its heaviest visuals off the critical path — first-load payload dropped from 9.9 MB to 1.89 MB (−81%). Slow connections get a fast page first and decoration later.

We also fixed a session bug where a background token refresh could sign you out mid-session. Sessions now survive the refresh cycle correctly.

Removed#

The auto-starting page tour on tool pages is gone. It interrupted more workflows than it helped. Guides remain available in the dashboard where you choose to open them.
