- Passkey sign-in — an enterprise-grade WebAuthn flow: autofill-first, with OTP-step recovery and post-login enrolment. We only offer passkey sign-in when your browser actually holds one, so the option never dead-ends.
- Phone verification over SMS — verify possession of your phone number as a second factor.
- "Can't access this email?" — locked out of your inbox? Verify by SMS to your phone or with a passkey instead of losing the account.
- Explicit +country codes on all phone inputs, so international numbers route correctly from day one.
During this period we temporarily paused the WhatsApp verification channel — deliveries were failing silently upstream, and a channel that pretends to work is worse than one that's honestly off. It returned once we could verify delivery end-to-end (see the August 6 update).
