Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I crop all pages at once?

Yes. Apply the same crop margins to all pages, or specify individual pages.

Does cropping reduce file size?

Cropping changes the visible area but doesn't remove the content. For file size reduction, use the compress tool.

Can I crop a scanned PDF?

Yes. Scanned PDFs are treated the same way — the tool trims the visible area based on the margins you set.

What units are used for crop margins?

Margins are set in millimeters (mm). You can also enter values in inches by converting (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

Will cropping remove text outside the margins?

Cropping hides content outside the crop area visually, but the hidden data may still exist in the file. For permanent removal, flatten the PDF after cropping.

Can I undo the crop later?

Once downloaded, the crop is baked in. Keep the original file if you might need to adjust margins later.
